Precautions for preheating of flame cutting machine

An experienced flame cutting machine operator needs to pay attention to multiple factors to grasp the preheating time, such as cutting plate thickness, cutting gas, cutting speed, ignition point position, etc., and adjust the preheating time based on multiple factors.

During the preheating process, the length of preheating time can be increased or decreased at any time according to the actual preheating situation. Similarly, the modified preheating time will be memorized, and the next preheating will be done according to the modified preheating time.

To simplify the difficulty of operation and achieve precise control, Huacheng CNC cutting machine can set the preheating time for flame cutting manually. The specific operation is to enter a numerical value in seconds after entering the CNC system and selecting the flame cutting method. After determining other cutting settings, the cutting gun will ignite and preheat at the designated position. After the limited preheating time is completed, the cutting lead will enter the board surface to start cutting, To achieve * * * * cutting effect.

Daily use and maintenance of CNC flame cutting machines

1. Before operating the CNC flame cutting machine

(1) Check for leaks in each gas circuit, valve, and whether the gas safety device is effective.

(2) Check if the provided gas inlet pressure meets the specified requirements.

2. During the operation of the CNC flame cutting machine

(1) Adjust the cut steel plate to be as parallel as possible to the track.

(2) Choose an appropriate cutting nozzle based on the thickness and material of the board. Make the cutting nozzle perpendicular to the steel plate.

(3) According to different plate thicknesses and materials, reset the cutting speed and preheating time in the machine, and set the reasonable pressure for preheating oxygen and cutting oxygen.

(4) After ignition, do not come into contact with the flame area. Operators should try to use cutting methods with minimal splashing to protect the cutting nozzle.

(5) Check the heating flame and cutting oxygen jet. If any damage is found to the cutting nozzle, it should be replaced and cleaned in a timely manner. Use specialized tools to clean the cutting nozzle.

(6) If tempering occurs during the cutting process, the power should be cut off in a timely manner, and the gas valve should be shut down. If the tempering valve plate is burned, it should be stopped from use and replaced by the manufacturer or professional personnel.

(7) When CNC flame operators operate the cutting machine, they should always pay attention to the operation status of the equipment. If any abnormal situation is found, the emergency stop switch should be pressed, and the work position should be exited in a timely manner. It is strictly prohibited to start and leave the site.

(8) Operators should note that after cutting a workpiece, the cutting torch should be lifted back to its original position and run to the next workstation before cutting.

(9) Operators should choose the cutting speed according to the given cutting elements, and it is not allowed to increase equipment load solely to improve work efficiency. The relationship between equipment lifespan, efficiency, and environmental protection should be well handled.

3. Operate the CNC flame cutting machine after work

(1) After work, the equipment should be returned to the support position and the air valve should be closed. The residual gas inside the pipe should be completely discharged and the power should be turned off.

(2) If a handover system is implemented, the operation status of the equipment on duty should be recorded in a handover record.

(3) The site should be cleaned carefully to maintain cleanliness and order within the work area.

4. Daily maintenance of CNC flame cutting machine

(1) The track does not allow personnel to stand, step on, or lean against heavy objects, and it is also not allowed to collide. Each shift should use compressed air to remove dust from the track surface and wipe it with gauze dipped in 20 # engine oil. Keep the guide rail surface lubricated and clean at all times.

(2) The transmission rack should be cleaned with 20 # engine oil every day, and there are particles and splashes on the rack.

(3) Operators are only allowed to disassemble the cutting nozzle, and other parts cannot be disassembled at will. The electrical junction box can only be opened by relevant personnel for maintenance.

(4) If the equipment malfunctions, it should be promptly handled by maintenance personnel. If the malfunction is significant, it should be reported to the equipment department to organize relevant personnel for review and determine the maintenance plan. Unauthorized disassembly and inspection are strictly prohibited.
